  2. Hi Rman,

Fantastic pictures, always nice to see pictures from a proud Pinoy.

Even though I did not see the Canada/Japanese fireworks Saturday – I consider to go Saturday.

I do have a question about the El Hogar Bldg.

    How did you get access?
and do you think we can get access to take pictures inside, with a small group?

I want to pictures inside many interesting buildings (no longer in use) in and around Manila. I am a member of Ayala Alabang Camera Club, and want to do it as a camera club arrangement.

I want to take pictures that tells a story – and I think pictures from ie. the El Hogar Bldg. can help to get a story out to many people.

We take so many picutures of churches, post office buildings, lighthouses, monuments etc – and they do have a story, but abandoned houses might have more of a story to tell, because it has had its prime – and suddently be gone.

    Hope you can help,

    Niklas

    1. Thanks for visiting my site Niklas.

About El Hogar, we did pay the admin office for a certain fee (about 5K) and we just divide it among ourselves- we are about 4 photographers then. We have a model then so we are required to pay (as per their requirement). But if you’re just alone and only would like to take photos inside. You can just pass by there and ask the guard on duty that you would like to take pictures inside for a soon to be project 🙂 but if you’re a group you will probably need to pay. El Hogar they said is usually booked for movies and commercial shoots.

Btw, would you know Aly Reyes and Derick Gamboa of Ayala Alabang Photoclub?

      Regards,
      Rman
