Day 298/365: King Crab House

October 26, 2011

Another night hunt for dinner and wifey is craving for a seafood. Where to go in San Juan area for a seafood craving? most that we want a huge crab. From Sugarleaf Wilson, we had an adventure walk and we check out all the food  store up to Jose Abad Santos in Little Baguio, and presto! It’s a King Crab House! We immediately check their menu, ask the friendly server to recommend their best crabs. It is a typical Chinese restaurant with a table ready white plates and bowls, offering hot teams,  The interior is simple and comfortable, the touch of green and yellow makes it homey. And yes, the server was already telling stories that she is working there for almost 10 years already! Amazing!

What did we have? We had a Hototay Soup, Yang Chao Fried Rice and their Steam Onion and Ginger Crabs! Yum Yum! Other varieties are steamed, baked, or in coconut milk, curry, olive oil or prepared with sotanghon or rice in a pot, or simply in salt and pepper. It is indeed a gastronomic dinner adventure! its worth the price of P1400 for two!

Check the pictures and see how yummy the crab is! However, wifey said “Nothing beats Pareng Enzo Uy crabs” I truly agree 🙂
