Summit Ridge Hotel Tagaytay, A new destination place for conference and planning

November 18 and 19, 2010
Summit Ridge Hotel
Tagaytay City

It’s my first time to visit Summit Ridge Hotel and it’s my first IT Strategy Planning with my new office. So here’s the Hotel Review:

Conference Hall- too huge for the 4 of us discussing our IT Strategy Plan for 2011. It’s good though to have lot’s of space to move around. Interior is just okay, the color seems boring and doesnt energize us to think at our best. I dont like the smell either, seems molds is sticking in the carpets and that smells around in the conference hall.

Front Desk – too small or probably I am expecting too much that it should be a hotel grandeur entrance, nothing unique or a wow factor.

Food – its Classic Cuisine (C2) serving the hotel buffet. 3 Stars Rating 5 being the highest. The view is at the back of the hotel, would be nice if its fronting the Taal Lake.

Room – Same smell, molds! Bed is not good, comfort rating is at 2! out 5.

Service – Good. 4 out 5

Free Complimentary WIFI! 5 out of 5!

Hotel Rate – 3 out 5

Stores Nearby- Starbucks, Robinson Supermarket, Guilly’s Island, just across Josephine’s Restaurant

  1. This is a top 3 hotel – although this is the first hotel that really commercialized Tagaytay =(

Thanks for the comment. I agree. Tagaytay is so commercialize now and SM is building theirs too in that strip. Welcome heavy traffic soon in Tagaytay!
