Ilocos Region Part 4 – Pagudpud

When I first heard of Pagudpud, I thought it was just a beach resort, never knew it was a municipality in Laoag City. The place is located on the northern most tip of the island of Luzon. It is the coastal resort town of Laoag, Ilocos Region which is very promising to be the next main tourist destination after Boracay.
A must see places are as follows: Blue Lagoon, Saud Beach, the Patapat Viaduct, The Sea Arch, The view of Batanes Islands on a clear day, the scenic Bangui Windmills from the beach area and the different waterfalls that connects to the main sea.
My Rating on the Place: Good. If you are looking for a quiet beach resort after a long drive from Manila, then this is your place. No nightlife yet. Food is just okay. Accommodation is Fair. Drinks? try the Pagudpud Sling.
