Flower Power! The month of May is the Fiesta Season of the Philippines and the most popular event is “Flores de Mayo”- Flores, from Spanish “flores” or Flowers of May. This is also a celebration of Flower Offerings in honor of Mama Mary
In celebration, let me show you my photograph collection of flowers, starting with Yellow colors. Why Yellow? It’s Sunshine! and the color promotes cheerfulness. But wait, Yellow means they are a coward so yellow can have a negative meaning in some cultures, some says it’s jealousy? The meanings can be contradicting but I am hoping that all of these flowers promotes beauty and joy to my viewers. Can you name some of them for me?
